All published rates exclude 7% accommodation (Tourism) tax. The Freedom Hotel published rates are stated in US Dollars as per room per night. Rates published are confirmed in US Dollars and are based on the number of occupants offered in your e-mail confirmation per room, per night.
Bookings must be guaranteed by a major credit card. Prepaid bookings will be charged room charge x the number of nights x the number of rooms at the time of booking through the payment method offered. When the booking is confirmed, a reservation number will be supplied. This must be retained for access to the booking in the event of the need for cancellation and/or change. Acceptance will be made by us (and a contract executed) once full payment is received from you.
We reserve the right to modify or cancel reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.

Should a guest be unable to settle the account upon departure, The Freedom Hotel is authorized to bill guest via guest's credit card. The Fredom Hotel has the right to ask for full payment daily for guest's room, food and beverage charges and has complete discretion to determine guest's credit card standing within the hotel. Should guest be unable to settle account upon request, The Freedom Hotel has the right to revoke the accommodation agreement although the predetermined length of stay has not been completed.
A credit card must be provided at check-in, to serve as a guarantee for the booking. A security deposit of $150 USD to cover incidental charges in addition to the room charges is required upon registration. Guests arriving after 18:00 will receive instructions for registration.
The Freedom Hotel is NON-SMOKING inside all buildings, rooms, elevators and floors. Guests are not allowed to smoke in any rooms. Smoking in any room will result in a cleaning fee of $500.00 that will be placed on guest’s room account.
No pets allowed.
The placing of any valuables in the security box is done solely at guest's own risk.
The Freedom Hotel ensures the safety of its guests. The Freedom Hotel has taken all precautions to ensure that its staff is Covid-19 free, well trained and health and hygiene protocols are in place. The Freedom Hotel takes no liability for any costs relating to guest that may test positive for Covid-19 during their stay. Guest will be full liable for any/all medical cost during their stay at The Freedom Hotel.
In the rare case that the hotel cannot accept a booking, guests will be offered a full refund. In the case of an act of God (strike, war, etc.), the hotel will do its utmost to find an alternative accommodation in another accommodation but will not be held responsible if this is not possible.
A guest can cancel a reservation free of charge until 24 hours before arrival.
A guest will be charged the cost of the first night if they cancel within 1 day before arrival.
In the event of non-arrival or cancellation after the allotted cancellation period, a charge equivalent to the total reservations at the rate at which the reservation was made will be collected; in the instance of an online payment where monies have been paid, no refund will be given. Normal terms of payment apply to these charges.
Most major credit and debit cards are accepted. Unless prepaid, full payment for room, tax, service charge and incidentals for the entirety of the stay will be taken at the time of arrival.
We unsure the highest level of data protection, and as a result, you can operate our systems confidently knowing we store and process credit card information (and any other sensitive data) in the cloud, tested against the latest and most mature set of PCI compliance requirements. We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, encrypting information inputted for The Freedom Hotel. Throughout our online networks, we display only the last four digits of your credit card. Firewalls are used to protect against unlawful access. We take every reasonable precaution to assure that your information is secure, knowing it is not possible to guarantee absolute security.
We may receive and store personal information (including but not limited to name, gender, phone number, address, email, etc.) entered our system. You may select not to provide certain personal information. We use this personal information to answer your requests, customize your experience, and for the general betterment of communication. It may be required to turn over your information to law enforcement when applicable. We are not liable for information you voluntarily share on social media or in the public domain. We will take the necessary steps to ensure your information is kept for a duration of time only as needed. We may share your information provided with other companies who provide goods or services that you are interested in. Despite the care and effort extended by The Freedom Hotel, you may feel you have grounds for a complaint regarding your accommodation or your stay in the hotel. If necessary, a written report of your complaint will be made, and you may rest assured of our utmost care in trying to find a satisfactory solution. In the event that it still remains impossible to reach a satisfactory solution, it is possible for you to appeal to refer the case to the competent Court. You are personally responsible for obtaining the relevant documents regarding your journey and stay. The Freedom Hotel rejects any responsibility and/or liability for damages or costs ensuing from the absence of the necessary documents.
No claim can be laid on The Freedom Hotel on the grounds of apparent and obvious omissions in print and these are not binding. These General Conditions substitute all and any previous publications.
Any agreement or contract between you and The Freedom Hotel is exclusively governed by the law of Curaçao.
